West Richland's Marcum continues to lead WJGA

West Richland's Jeffrey Marcum continues to lead the boys' 16-17 division after two rounds of the Washington Junior Golf Association Championship on Thursday at Meridian Valley Country Club.

Marcum fired a 2-under-par 70 for a two-day total of 142. That's one stroke better then Mill Creek's Kyle Cornett.

Kennewick's Nick Mandell is tied for seventh with a 150, and Walla Walla's Ryan Baumgart is 14th at 154.

Catherina Li of Kent holds a 5-stroke lead in the girls 16-17 division after two rounds.

Walla Walla's Emily Baumgart is tied for eighth in the girls 14-15 division with a two-round total of 174.
