Basketball: Kamiakin boys only local team in tournament semifinals

Kamiakin boys basketball tournament: Kamiakin defeated Hermiston, Central Valley bested Hanford, Gonzaga Prep trumped Richland and Mt. Spokane earned a win against Columbia River as the quarterfinal round of the Kamiakin boys basketball tournament wrapped up play.

Kamiakin will take on CV and G-Prep will face Mt. Spokane in semifinal games scheduled to begin at noon today, with the championship slated for a 5:20 p.m. tip-off.
