It has been a great run, Don Schumacher said Mon-day, his first day of retirement after serving 12 years as the athletic director at Kamiakin and 33 years there overall. Its just one of those things thats enjoyable. Its a great place to work in any situation, but when you have success like that ... its so many people doing the right thing coaches, kids, administrators, support staff.
Hanford finished sixth with 168 points. No other area 3A team was in the top 25.
Richland finished 10th among Class 4A schools with 154.8 points. Bellarmine Prep topped the field with 287.3 points.
