Donna and Don Doescher of Kennewick celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 10 with an open house at Kennewick First Lutheran Church.

They were married June 12, 1952, at St. John American Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, S.D. They moved here from Pierre, S.D., in 1965.

Donna worked at the Hanford House in Richland as a banquet waitress for 13 years and as an accounting secretary for All Doors Inc. before retiring after 25 years.

Don worked for 30 years as a carpenter. In 1984, he formed All Doors Inc., where he worked for 25 years.

They are members of Kennewick First Lutheran Church, Loyal Order of Moose, Kennewick, and Sons of Norway, Kennewick.

They have five children, Dan Doescher of Kennewick; Dee Chapman of Kennewick; Derwin Doescher of Kennewick; Dondi Doescher of Kennewick; and Doreen Souseck, deceased.

They have 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
