Girls fastpitch state tournament starts today in Tri-Cities

The National Softball Association Girls Fastpitch State Tournament for age divisions 10-18U begins today at various locations in the Tri-Cities.

The Menace NW Fastpitch, a team loaded with area talent, will face the Washington Hurricanes in an 18U division first-round game at 2 p.m. today at TRAC in Pasco.

Other sites for the double-elimination tournament are Horn Rapids, Kennewick Civic Center, Lawrence Scott Park and the Southridge Sports and Events Complex.
