Fever named IFL's Franchise of the Year

After going 12-2 in the regular season and earning the top seed in the Intense Conference, the Tri-Cities Fever was named the Indoor Football League Franchise of the Year.

Attendance, sales, public relations, marketing, on-field performance, community involvement and best representation of the IFL were factors in determining the award recipient. The Fever ranked among the league’s top teams in ticket sales and attendance.

“This award is an amazing honor because it includes everyone and every part of the organization that I am so proud of,” Fever owner/general manager Teri Carr said in a league news release.

Executive of the Year: Arney Silvestri, Chicago Slaughter

Best Fan Base: Nebraska Danger

Best Game Operations: Green Bay Blizzard

Best Team Mascot: Sir-Loin, Omaha Beef

Best Cheerleader/Dance Team: Omaha Beef

Best Team Website: Bloomington Edge

Best Media Relations: Lehigh Valley Steelhawks

Community Relations Award: Lehigh Valley Steelhawks
