By Tri-City Herald staff June 13, 2012

A Kennewick woman reportedly broke into a Kennewick home Tuesday afternoon, then shot herself, authorities said.

Few details were immediately available, but Kennewick police confirmed the woman did not live at the West 5th Avenue home.

She reportedly poured some gasoline out at the house before she died.

The Benton County Coroner's Office later confirmed Lauren M. Nelson, 47, of Kennewick, died at the home.
