Richland senior Elizabeth Quick and Kiona-Benton senior Eryk Nash both competed at the state multi-events championships Friday and Saturday in Lake Stevens.
Quick, who recently won the 4A state pole vault title, scored 3,361 points to finish 14th overall in the heptathlon. Quicks top mark out of six events was in the high jump, where she cleared 5 feet, 2 inches to finish third.
Nash scored 4,719 points in his first decathlon, finishing 19th overall but with the top score of all Class 1A participants. Nash, who finished eighth at state in the pole vault, cleared 12-3 in the event to claim eighth for his best finish of the day.
Blake McPherson of Arlington won the boys decathlon with a score of 6,201. Brooke Feldmeier of Tumwater won the girls heptathlon with a mark of 4,437.
