10 to advance from Tri-City baseball feeder game

The A's beat the Rays 8-7 in the All-State series feeder baseball game held Thursday at LaPierre Field. Other details were unavailable.

The A's consisted of senior players from Chiawana, Pasco, Hanford and Kennewick.

The Rays featured seniors from Richland, Kamiakin, Southridge and Walla Walla.

A total of 10 players from the game will be nominated for selection to the All-State Series scheduled June 9-10 at Yakima County Stadium.

A's --Chiawana: CJ Edrington, Chris Gill, Garrett Weiss. Pasco: Ethan Cantu. Hanford: AJ Hoskins, Colin Serkowski, Ryan Neal, Trevor Jones, Finn McMichael, Jake Browne. Kennewick: Stetson Plew, Jordan Higley, Trek Stemp, Jarod Gonzales, Brandon Pocasangre, Garrett Wilz, Troy Fulton, Sam Guin.

Rays--Richland: Corey Morris, Connor Moore, Dalton Johnson, Elijah Gardaya. Kamiakin: Jesse Houser, Drew Oord, Nolan Earley, Andrew Castillo, Jacob Valdez. Southridge: Dylan Maurer, Matt Mendenhall, Taylor Sanderson, Daniel Neville. Walla Walla: Moe Handcox, Josh Eggers, Taylor Lemke.

Wolf Pack 13-4, Panthers 4-5

FINLEY -- Chance White had two RBIs for Kennewick as the Wolf Pack opened a split Senior Babe Ruth twinbill with a win against host Finley.

Kyle Dennis had an RBI for the Panthers to help his team to a win in the nightcap.

Richland 7-0, Burbank 4-7

BURBANKA -- Andrew Wattenberger gave up seven hits and struck out two over seven innings as the host Diamondbacks avenged a Game 1 loss with a win against the visiting Raptors in a Senior Babe Ruth doubleheader.

Paden Kottwitz and Craig Miller had a double apiece in the opening game but it wasn't enough as Burbank lost.
