Still fresh from their Class 3A state baseball triumph, Kamiakin seniors Jesse Houser, Drew Oord, Nolan Earley, Andrew Castillo and Jacob Valdez are among the area seniors slated to participate in the All-State Series feeder game scheduled to start at 3 p.m. today at LaPierre Field.
Walla Wallas Josh Eggers and Moe Handcox, and Chiawanas CJ Edrington and Richland's Connor Moore are among the 4A standouts listed to play in the 10-inning game.
After the game, 10 players will be nominated to the All-State tournament series scheduled for June 9-10 at Yakima County Stadium.
Admission to the game today is free, but concessions will be unavailable on site.

Junior American Legion: Hunter Chambers hit a home run in the nightcap as the Richland Knights bounced back from a Game 1 loss with a 6-1 win against the Hanford Flames in a doubleheader Wednesday at Hanford High School.
David Jurgens, Jon Miles and McKaden Manderbach had a hit apiece as the Flames won the first game 5-3.
