RICHLAND -- Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland is the setting Monday for the 2012 Columbia Crimson Golf Classic, a WSU Tri-Cities event dedicated to raise funds for student scholarships.
The shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, May 21. Cost is $125 per player, which includes a box lunch, a trip to the practice tee, cart rental, drink tickets, dinner at the club and tee prizes.
When you factor in the quality of the culinary program at Meadow Springs, and the fact that it costs the guest of a member $65 to play at this private course, its an attractive deal even for a Husky.
Do remember Meadow Springs has a dress code. A collared shirt and and a pair of khakis is the standard at this club that will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year.
According to their website, membership also frowns upon Caps with a bill worn any way but bill forward.
