BOISE, Idaho -- Six gymnasts from three Tri-Cities area clubs will be participating in the Level 9 Western championships scheduled today through Sunday in Boise, Idaho.

Reigning 3A state all-around champion Kiya Bjorge (Southridge) will represent the Garland’s Gymnastics program alongside clubmates Jaimee Fields and Haley Slocombe.

Francesca Smith and Hallie Gillen will step onto the mat for Mid-Columbia Gymnastics Academy, and Kelsey Jaquish will be the All-American Gymnastics and Sports Center rep.

Four more area competitors -- Garland’s Taylor Bacon and Alexis Lawrence, and MCGA’s Nicole Larkin and Emily Bolten -- will take part in the Junior Olympic Level 10 National championships scheduled May 11-13 in Hampton, Virginia.
