MOSES LAKE -- Jazmynn Jesse hit a sixth-inning grand slam in Game 1 for a 11-4 win and a three-run home run in the 13-4 nightcap to help the host Chiefs sweep the Riverhawks in CBBN 4A action.
Kendra Boehning had two hits in the opener and a two-run homer in Game 2 for Chiawana (3-9).
Moses Lake (8-4) is the No. 3 district seed. The Chiefs will face No. 6 Chiawana at 5 p.m. Thursday in a loser-out game in Moses Lake.
No. 4 Wenatchee (5-5), which concludes the regular season today against Walla Walla, will host No. 5 Eisenhower (4-8) on Thursday in the other elimination game. The second round of districts begins May 12 in Pasco.

The playoff fate for Prosser (13-5) is undetermined. Othello's doubleheader against Ellensburg has been moved to today. If the Huskies (11-4-1) lose both games to the Bulldogs (14-2), a tiebreaker against East Valley (11-6-1) would be necessary.
Grandview and Ephrata will play for the No. 6 seed to next weekend's District 5/6 tournament at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Othello. Ephrata beat Quincy 13-3 and 14-4 on Thursday to finish the CWAC regular season 7-11.
When the teams met April 21, Ephrata won the opener 10-7 before Grandview nabbed a 9-8 victory in Game 2.
