Crime Stoppers seek fugitive from Montana

KENNEWICK -- Kennewick police and Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers are searching for fugitive wanted in Montana for probation violation, escape and assault.

Lawrence Michael Keffeler, 47, was last known to be living in the Tri-Cities, where he's also wanted for two counts of failing to appear in court on first-degree theft charges.

Keffeler is 5-foot-8, 185 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of a feather on his right arm. He has used the name Michael Smith.

Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers pays a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that results in a felony arrest.

Anyone with information about Keffeler's whereabouts can call 586-8477 or go to www.tricitiescrimestoppers.org.

Tips can also be sent by text message by writing "Text TIP 411" plus the message to CRIMES (274637).
