MATTAWA -- A suspected drive-by shooting late Saturday afternoon at Wahluke High School in Mattawa prompted officials to cancel a soccer game between the Wahluke Warriors and a team from Overlake High School.

A witness who contacted the Herald reported hearing five to six shots that occurred right behind the soccer field.

There were no reported injuries or arrests. The incident was suspected as being gang related.

The Grant County Sheriff's Department and Mattawa Police Department could not provide additional information Sunday afternoon.
