EUGENE, Ore. -- The Hermiston girls basketball season came to an abrupt end Thursday, as the Bulldogs lost 55-41 to Wilsonville in a Class 5A consolation game at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.
The Bulldogs (21-7) entered the final eight Wednesday as the fourth-ranked team in the state, but lost to Bend and didn't fare much better against Wilsonville (20-8).
Maloree Moss led Hermiston with 11 points, while Jeni Hoffert added nine points and Callahan Crossley had seven.
The Bulldogs shot just 27.9 percent from the field, making 17-of-61 field goals and made just 3-of-23 from behind the arc.
Devyn Kauhi scored a game-high 14 points for Wilsonville, while Lexie Bennett and Alyssa Clark had 12 points each. Bennett also pulled down 16 rebounds.
