Luckett, Davis boys rips Bothell 79-45

TACOMA -- Senior Devonte Luckett scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Cooper Kupp scored 19 to go with five assists to lead Yakima's A.C. Davis (21-2) to a 79-45 quarterfinal win over Bothell (17-10) at the state 4A tournament at the Tacoma Dome.

The Pirates never trailed and raced to an early 14-3 lead. They led by as many as 38. David Trimble added 13 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for Davis, which shot a blistering 65 percent from the field (34-of-52).

Highly touted junior Zach Levine led Bothell with 20 points, just three off his season-average.
