I have always found history interesting. It's just sad we never learn from it.

Time after time, great nations have been built up, then something happens. The morals and standards of the people began to slide downhill, and when they got bad enough, that nation was destroyed. Some by war, some by natural disasters. I believe it was Abraham Lincoln who said, "A great nation is not conquered from without, until it has fallen from within."

Well, we are on that downhill slide. In the last few years, Congress has started passing laws, saying it's OK to do something that is morally wrong. It's not! And they and we will be held accountable for doing what is morally right, not what they say is legal.

A thought: If it had been Adam and Steve instead of Adam and Eve, they would have found it a pretty lonely world and we wouldn't be here to share our opinions.
