I am concerned about the Franklin County employee who is being investigated for the alleged theft of $1 million, little by little.
If he's guilty, then he did not care about the effect on the whole staff, the streets that weren't fixed or the loss to the Tri-City economy.
It is sad how agencies have forgotten how to manually screen applicants. How can you blame the technology? It is not an acceptable reason.
He is a previous offender -- what more reason do you need? You can blame this person or that person, but it is laziness and insufficient professionalism on the part of the managers and supervisors.
It starts little by little -- employees misusing company time to check on family, kids, or even school events being attended on company time. When you add this up, it is money lost, big money.
Do not go by looks. Handsomeness/good looks will cost companies. There should be a training of managers and supervisors. Companies would grow in revenue and in integrity.
