Americans were promised many things about Social Security when it was passed into law. And many assurances were given. All of the promises have been broken and the assurances were as worthless as the politicians. Social Security is rapidly going broke. Those Social Security tax cuts that Congress and the president keep extending just speed its demise. How many of you believe people are going to stand for having those tax cuts ended?

The politicians assured us that Medicare wouldn't ever cost the taxpayers over billions of dollars. They lied! Now the politicians have to take some of the coverage away from the old people via the new Affordable Health Care Act. The average person pays about $130,000 into Medicare during his or her lifetime but receives about $340,000. Something had to be done!

The architect of "Obamacare" assured Congress and the American people that it would save X amount of money if it became law. He has now flip-flopped and says it will cause health care costs to rise.
