YAKIMA -- Sal Escobedo had 11 points for Grandview, Shannon Isadore had 19 for Toppenish and the Greyhounds ended their season with a 49-44 loss to the Wildcats in a Class 2A District 5/6 Tournament elimination game at West Valley High School in Yakima.

Zach Bartlow had 14 points and 18 rebounds for Waitsburg-Prescott in a Class 2B District 9 Tournament loser-out win against Tri-Cities Prep at Whitman College.

The Cardinals will return to Whitman College on Monday to face Dayton for the championship at 6:30 p.m.

"We played a very good defensive game," W-P coach T.J. Scott said. "But if we want to win more games we have to be more efficient than we were tonight."
