ZILLAH -- Taylor Brown had 14 points for Kiona-Benton and teammates Cierra Torp and Bailey Schroeder combined for 21 as Kiona-Benton's season ended with a 55-45 loss to Goldendale in the Class 1A District 5 tournament at Zillah High.
"Really, just after the first quarter, we couldn't buy a basket," Kiona-Benton coach Joe Wirtzberger said. "We missed lay-in after lay-in and wide-open shots. We didn't shoot good after the first quarter, and the fourth quarter was worst."
