Royal eliminates Kiona-Benton boys 44-36

ZILLAH -- Cristian Aguilar's game-high 11 points, wasn't enough, as Kiona-Benton's season ended with a 44-36 loss to Royal in a Class 1A District 5 basketball game at Zillah Middle School.

"We didn't have a very good first quarter, as you can see, 13 to 6," said Kiona-Benton coach Jack Rose, who also noted Mick Phelps and Dalton Morgan were held to a combined eight points in the contest.

"We just had no inside-outside game at all."
