The recent five Grammy wins for the Foo Fighters meant a little bit more to Tri-City fans because one of the band's members, Nate Mendel, is from the Tri-Cities.

They won best rock performance for Walk, best hard rock performance for White Limo, best rock song for Walk, best rock album for Wasting Light, and best long form music video for Foo Fighters Back & Forth.

The Foo Fighters were one of the top winners at the event Feb. 12, earning one less Grammy than the evening's big winner, Adele, who earned six Grammys.
