A Kennewick homeowner helped police catch two Pasco teens and a 20-year-old Pasco man after they allegedly broke into his home.
The suspects skipped school Friday and broke a window in the back of the home in the 500 block of First Avenue to get inside, Kennewick police Sgt. Ken Lattin said.
The homeowner, Keith Silliman, returned home around 1:45 p.m., saw his home had been burglarized and immediately went to the Ben Franklin Transit transfer station on Dayton Street.
Silliman videotaped people with his phone until the three suspects took off, leaving his stolen property behind.
Officers tracked the suspects to the area of First Avenue and Gum Street and arrested them on suspicion of residential burglary, Lattin said.
They were found with some of the stolen items, he said.
Arturo Prado was booked into the Benton County jail and the other two boys, ages 15 and 16, were taken to the juvenile detention center.
