Sunnyside teen arrested on suspicion of threats

SUNNYSIDE -- A 16-year-old male student was arrested Wednesday at Sunnyside High School for reportedly making threats against students.

The threats were found written on a piece of paper in a classroom, according to a news release from the Sunnyside Police Department.

The teen was taken to Yakima County Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of felony harassment and threats to do harm.

Victims of the threats have been identified and are being notified by school officials and law enforcement.
