Ben Clark, a custodian at Mark Twain Elementary in Pasco, found an injured red-tailed hawk on Jan. 26. Blue Mountain Wildlife Director Lynn Tompkins says the bird had secondary poisoning from eating a poisoned bird. Blue Mountain rehabilitated the hawk and released at Mark Twain in front of about 350 students and staff on Feb. 14. Learn more about Blue Mountain Wildlife. KAI-HUEI YAU/TRI-CITY HERALD
