This letter is in response to the opinions expressed in Jan. 29 Fast Focus on the carousel project. I support the project going forward because it is a cost we should be willing to pay for a quality of life here in the Tri-Cities.

I know it will cost us taxpayers somewhere around a million of our dollars to complete but the city of Kennewick spends that kind of money every year to operate a coliseum, arena and convention center, and no one seems to be complaining about that to much. Let's pick a site and get the darn thing built.
