The Pasco Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors recently voted to support Pasco School District maintenance and operations levy election and encourages all its members and the community to support Pasco Schools by voting yes.

As chamber director, I know Pasco School District is a state leader in innovative, student-centered programs that are based on student needs. Businesses and members of the community benefit from the opportunities provided to all students through Pasco School District's programs.

This is not a new tax; it is just a renewal of the expiring levy approved in 2010.

Today's students are tomorrow's leaders and work force, and quality education is essential to economic prosperity. Please join me and the Pasco Chamber Board of Directors and vote "yes" on the Pasco school levy.
