Crime Stoppers search targets sex offender

Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers and the Benton County Sheriff's Office is looking for a sex offender wanted on warrants for not complying with court orders.

Curtis Gaylord Brooks Sr., 57, is 5-foot-7, 187 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a 7-inch surgical scar on his back.

He was last known to be living in Benton County, and uses the aliases Gaylord Brooks and Calvin Gaylord Mack.

Brooks is wanted on two warrants on original charges of third-degree rape and failing to register as a sex offender.

Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers pays a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that results in a felony arrest.

Anyone with information about Brooks' whereabouts can call 586-8477 or visit org. Tips can also be sent by text message by writing "Text TIP 411" plus the message to CRIMES (274637).
