The Columbia-Burbank boys basketball team was stellar from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter Tuesday, knocking off River View 45-37 in Connell.
The victory gives the Coyotes (9-12 overall) the SCAC East's No. 4 seed to the Class 1A District 5 Tournament. Columbia-Burbank plays at Zillah at 7 p.m. Thursday in a first round game.
The loss ended River View's season.
On Tuesday, the Coyotes overcame a three-point deficit at the end of the third quarter by shooting 12-of-16 from the line in the fourth.
"That was kind of the turning point," Columbia-Burbank coach DJ Traver said.
Nathan Roberts was 5-of-6 and Heath Lawrence was 4-for-4 from the line in the quarter.
Roberts led the Coyotes attack with 11 points, while Terran Brown and Cody Hand scored 10 points apiece to shine in River View's season finale.
