Franklin County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with a string of home burglaries and car prowls in an area north of Pasco.

Thomas T. Miller, 24, was arrested Friday 2/3after deputies served four search warrants and were able to recover property stolen during the car prowls and burglaries.

Not all of the stolen property has been recovered, said sheriff’s Sgt. Jim Dickenson in a press release.

Eighteen residents around Taylor Flats Road reported that their homes or cars were broken into last month.

Miller was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary, possessing stolen property, theft, possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and felony threats.

Most of the incidents have been vehicle prowls, but two homes were burglarized and guns, laptops and two TVs were swiped.

Tips from citizens led to an earlier arrest of three men, but they have not been tied to the burglaries, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies said they have searched two locations after getting tips from residents and found an illegal marijuana growing operation.
