PASCO -- Jordan Rodriguez had 16 points and nine steals as Sunnyside defeated Pasco 57-42 in a CBBN 3A game at Pasco on Friday.
Sunnyside coach Sean Sleater didn't realize how many steals Rodriguez had until after the game.
"It was spread out all over the place," Sleater said. "She crept up on everybody."
The victory moves the Grizzlies into a tie for the third place with idle Hanford, though the Falcons are likely to lock up the No. 3 spot tonight. Hanford is at Pasco, while Sunnyside is at undefeated Kamiakin.
CC Alferness led Pasco with 15 points.

The win clinches the No. 2 seed for Eastmont and a bye in the first round of the district tournament next week.
West Valley, which clinched its playoff spot with Southridge's loss Friday, is tied for fifth with Kennewick.
