Every two years Kennewick residents have an opportunity to show their support of our kids by voting yes for our school levy. The approval of this levy will not only help support our kid's participation in athletics, art, physical education, music and libraries, but also will be critical to other areas not subsidized by our state dollars.

The importance of these extra-curricular activities in the lives of our kids cannot be overstated.

I have always been proud to live and work in Kennewick where our school levies have been soundly supported by our residents. Please remember to mail your ballot with your yes vote before the Feb. 14 deadline. Let's win the big game for kids!
