The Orlando Magic waived guard Larry Hughes following Wednesday's win over the Wizards.

Hughes, who did not play in the NBA last season, signed a free agent deal with the Magic in early December and averaged nearly 13 minutes during his nine- game stint.

The 33-year-old veteran scored two points and had one assist in Wednesday's 109-103 victory.
