Whitman College is offering free admission to girls and their families Friday night when the Missionaries host Pacific Lutheran in a Northwest Conference matchup.

The Whitman women's basketball team sponsors its annual Bring a Girl to the Game Night in celebration of February's National Girls and Women in Sports Month.

The women's game starts at 6 p.m. at Sherwood Center in Walla Walla with the men's game to follow at about 8 p.m.

Both Whitman teams are in the playoff hunt.
