Sounders FC made additions and subtractions to its roster Tuesday before beginning a week of training in Casa Grande, Ariz.

Five players were cut: supplemental draft pick Abdul Aman of the University of Washington, forward Darwin Jones of Des Moines, goalkeeper Tyrel Lacey, midfielder Jonathan Prieto and an unidentified trialist from Korea who was never part of the team’s official training roster.

The club also welcomed right back Adam Johansson from the Swedish national team and supplemental draft pick Wes Feighner, a defender from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. Honduran defenders Ever Alvarado and Harlinton Gutierres are expected today.

Second-year Sounders O’Brian White (blood clot) and Michael Tetteh (hamstring) did not travel because of their medical issues. Forward Sammy Ochoa is taking time off to be with his wife, who is expected to give birth soon to their second child.

Elsewhere in MLS, the Vancouver Whitecaps acquired former Sounders forward Sebastien Le Toux from Philadelphia for allocation money.
