As a Persian Gulf vet, I've seen the good, band and evil that this world can dish out. I still try to stay positive out here in the Tri-Cities and remain productive.
So why is it that my niece, pregnant with her second child, trying to get to work is ticketed for sliding off the road where she was then stuck. The second cop who came upon her did not ticket her, as there were other people sliding around her. What I can't understand is seeing cops speeding, turning on their lights to get through traffic lights then turn them off and laying down a motorcycle out there. Where's their ticket? The cop who gave my niece the ticket should be ashamed of himself.
Am I perfect? Not even close. But I carry a badge. Yes, it's called a badge of honor. Think about it.
