I would like to express my deep, heartfelt concern that although I believe people have the right to choose a lifestyle, I do not believe that marriage between two men or two women should be allowed to become law in Washington.
Couples can live together, if they desire, and a marriage certificate is not required.
The Domestic Partnership law was passed in 2007. The recognition has been granted, rights have been obtained, which is what was asked for.
Marriage is now and should remain between a man and a woman only.
One's private sexual orientation should be kept private. I do not want or need to know what two people do sexually in their private lives.
