Regarding Stan Fronczak's letter, "Slowdown at Christmas," published Jan. 9.
Stan should celebrate Christmas the way he want wants, and I will celebrate it the way I want.
For me, I will continue to recognize (and celebrate) love, joy, peace on earth, and goodwill to men (and women!) "wherever" they come from.
Near the end of his letter, Fronczak writes, "To all you Christmas-hating atheists out there, Happy Holy days."
It appears Fronczak hates Christmas also. Nowhere in his letter does he say he even "likes" Christmas, and in nearly all of it, he complains about what others are doing around Christmas ( i.e., buying, decorating, causing traffic congestion, and worst of all, asking, "Are you ready for Christmas?").
How others celebrate Christmas should not affect anyone else's Christmas.
I am an atheist, but I still love (dare I say it!) Christmas, and Thanksgiving even more.
So, I wish "Happy Holidays to you," also.
