Maiden's Prayer, an adult-themed Columbia Basin College production, opens Feb. 2 in the CBC theater on the Pasco campus.

Curtain time is 7:30 p.m., and the production continues Feb. 3-4 with a 2 p.m. matinee Feb. 5.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors. Tickets are available at Adventures Underground in Richland, JD's Time Center in Kennewick, the CBC Bookstore and at the door.

Maiden's Prayer opens at the wedding of Taylor and Cynthia, a couple who are adored by everyone, except the bride's hard-drinking sister, Libby, who is seriously jealous of her sister's new husband because she fancies herself in love with him too.

The plot twists even tighter when Libby discovers that Paul, Taylor's best friend since childhood, harbors a secret love of the groom too.

Tri-City actors in the key roles are Cameron Rush, 24, as Taylor; Anna Newbury, 24, as Cynthia; Jennifer Reed, 21, as Libby; and Travis Franks, 20, as Paul.

The twists and turns of this play take the characters on a path that leads to a not-so-happy ending.
