My faith in humanity is restored.
My wonderful black Murano and I rolled twice on the morning of Jan. 11 on Interstate 182. As I came to, hanging upside-down from my seat belt and trying to figure out how to find my phone to call 911, several people began to talk to me, asking if I was OK and saying they had called 911.
To have these kind strangers take such good care to stop -- they must have been on their way to work or to a meeting of some kind -- felt like a gift. I may feel some days like things are going wrong with the world but these people stopped. I am very grateful.
