Khadidja Toure shattered a 27-year-old record and nearly outscored West Valley in the process.
The Kamiakin senior scored an eye-popping 48 points Tuesday, leading the Braves past the Rams 80-49 in a CBBN 3A matchup at Kamiakin.
Toure's 48 points breaks the old school record of 40, held by Tondi Redden (now VonOelhoffen).
Toure, who will attend Oregon State next season, had a previous career high of 33 points set against Moses Lake earlier this season. She added seven steals and five assists.
