PASCO — To celebrate its new, larger store, JMC Motorsports will feed lunch to the first 150 customers at its grand re-opening Saturday in Pasco.

Those who love power sports -- dirt and street motorcycles and snowmobiles -- will want to drop by and check out the apparel, parts, accessories for all brands of off road, motocross, snowmobile and street bikes.

"We have a full-service department with a full-time technician," said store manager Heather Howell.

The store is owned by Joel and Michelle Micka of Kennewick.

"We're all about our customers. Everyone working at JMC Motorsports rides. We're all enthusiasts," said Michelle Micka. "I have 12 years' experience in the power sports business, and our tech, Van Swindler, has almost 30 years experience."

The store carries Polini motorcycles, new and used, which are off-road dirt bikes.

"These are racing bikes specifically geared towards younger riders in the 6- to 10-year-old range, from entry level to highly experienced riders," Joel Micka said.

Between the Buns of Kennewick will be serving beef or pork Polish sausages from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Used bikes also are available at JMC.

"Currently, our stock is just off-road equipment, but we plan to add used street bikes in the near future," Michelle Micka said.

The new store opened last week at 1208 S. 10th Ave. in Pasco, at the foot of the cable bridge.

Michelle Micka said that in their Kennewick location, JMC Motorsports shared space with other businesses.

"We needed more room. We have a nice, big showroom now and a large parking lot with plenty of space to park trailers and toy haulers," she said.
