* 2003 -- The Tri-City Americans just missed scoring the franchise's first win in Vancouver, giving up a pair of goals in the final 1:15 of a 7-all tie with the Giants in a Western Hockey League game. The Ams got three assists from captain Ben Kilgour, but they couldn't avoid extending a nine-game winless streak.

* 1994 -- Holly Togiai had 19 points and 20 rebounds to lead Kamiakin to a 60-56 win over the Pasco Bulldogs, the closest game to date for the second-ranked Braves. Shauna Howard led Pasco with 23 points.

* 1948 -- Pasco senior Billy Collins overpowered his Grandview opponent, Wayne Baird, with a rain of blows in the second round to win by technical knockout in a high school boxing match.
