PASCO -- The weather outside in the Tri-Cities is frightful.

But inside TRAC this weekend, things will be so delightful, especially if you are an outdoors enthusiast.

The 19th annual Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show takes place at the Pasco facility, opening at 1 p.m. today and running until 8 p.m.

On Saturday, the show runs from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and on Sunday, it's from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12. Children under age 6 are admitted free.

A one-time daily admission gets you into the event all three days.

Special attractions this year include a 3D archery range sponsored by the Colyak Bowhunters; an Outdoor Cooking Camp, featuring Cee Dub Welch, who had his own show on PBS; and daily retriever demonstrations.

For the kids, the Lunker Lake Fishing Pond allows them to catch their own trout.

Kids also can assemble wood duck boxes, shoot foam darts from crossbows and shoot an air rifle.

Each day, there will be hourly seminars on such topics as fishing and hunting.

There also is an hourly seminar schedule -- 16 total for the entire weekend -- involving fly tying.
