HOOD RIVER -- Hermiston's Austin Bentz finished second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.96 seconds Saturday at the Eagle Indian Invitational.

He also placed sixth in the 200 free with a personal-best time of 2 minutes, 9.43 seconds.

Bentz competed on two top-10 relay teams with Thomas Hamblin, Abe Wright and Kyle McAllister. The Bulldogs finished fifth in the 200 free relay (1:44.78) and seventh in the 200 medley relay (2:03.94).

Other individual top-10 finishers for Hermiston were Hamblin (sixth, 200 individual medley; ninth, 100 breaststroke); Wright (sixth, 500 free; eighth, 200 free); and Cassie White (10th, girls 500 free).
