SEATTLE -- Aaron Broussard scored a career-high 34 points to help Seattle snap a four-game losing streak with a 91-78 win over Eastern Washington on Monday night.

Broussard was backed by a season-high 26 points by Sterling Carter, 18 of which came in the first half for the Redhawks (4-12).

Collin Chiverton led the Eagles (9-10) with 26 points. Cliff Colimon added 15 points and Laron Griffin 11.

A fast-break layup from Carter gave Seattle its first double-digit lead, 80-69, with 6:08 remaining in the game.

The Redhawks lost 10 of their previous 11 games.

Seattle pushed back numerous mini-runs by Eastern in the second half -- the Eagles took a one-point lead twice -- by going to Broussard. He was a mismatch, even against double teams, en route to eclipsing his previous career-high of 31 points, which came on Dec. 29 against Nebraska-Omaha.

Broussard scored with a mid-range jumper, then followed with a 3-pointer to push Seattle in front 87-72 with 3:29 left. After a steal on the Eagles' next possession, Broussard had a fast-break layup, capping a personal 7-0 run.

Seattle went on an 8-0 surge early in the second half after Eastern took a 52-51 lead on a 3-pointer by Jeffrey Forbes. During the stretch, Broussard made three free throws, Cervante Burrell drove and scored, and Carter hit a 3-pointer.

Carter hit his first four shots of the game, including three 3-pointers, against Eastern Washington's zone.

After Carter's third 3-pointer in the first 3:43, Eastern was down 16-9.

By halftime, Carter had 18 points, one short of his season high. Carter was 7 for 9 from the field, and 4 for 5 from 3-point range in the first half.

The Redhawks led 48-44 at the break.
