* 1974 -- The Columbia Basin College wrestling team pulled out a 38-36 dual-meet win over Whitworth in Spokane. The Hawks trailed 36-32 heading into the final match before 450-pound heavyweight Greg Williams pinned Steve Boszhetti in 5 minutes, 24 seconds.
* 1961 -- The Richland wrestling team snapped Pasco's string of consecutive dual meet victories at 26, earning a 22-21 road win. In the final match of the night, Roy Linder of Pasco recorded a 1-0 win over Rick Smolen, who took the loss but gave up just three team points.
