Pasco pressure washer company to expand

By Kristi Pihl, Tri-City Herald

PASCO -- Pasco's Columbia Basin Hotsy plans to expand to a larger building this spring.

The locally owned business is having an 8,900-square-foot metal building built at 1210 N. Oregon Ave.

Owner Robert Rohner said they need the larger facility because he and his wife, Jo Ann Rohner, are growing the business they started in Richland in 2004.

Hotsy is a brand of industrial pressure washers. Columbia Basin Hotsy provides industrial cleaning products, hot water pressure washers, steam cleaners and waste water treatment equipment.

They mainly serve commercial and industrial customers, although The company sells a line of residential pressure washers, Rohner said.

Columbia Basin Hotsy moved to Pasco five years ago.

The two-story building is valued at $604,000, according to city documents. The company will add about two to three employees to their current five.
